This event occurs on the same day as the Day of Silence in each Massachusetts public high school, which promotes the radical homosexual agenda by disrupting the taxpayer-funded school day with silence. Please stay tuned on ways YOU can participate on Wednesday, April 25th, including detailed event programs for the high schools where Day of Defiance demonstrations will be held, and click here to sign up today! READ MORE...

April 25, 2007: The First Day of Defiance at Brookline High School!

Reflections from an anonymous Brookline High School student about the Day of Defiance:

The Brookline Public Schools are not accustomed to accountability or public challenge. The quality of education in Brookline has been taken on face value for years by the parents, students, and taxpayers, who pay exorbitant amounts of money for keeping the expected educational status quo. What the public is not aware of is that the homosexual agenda is pushed into every subject at school, from Health to English to Math. This is about to change.

On April 25, 2007, a shrill noise could be heard by passers by, on their way to the Brookline Library, and an enormous crowd could be seen by passengers of the D-train, passing by the ‘Brookline Hills’ station. The first Day of Defiance was underway, designed to oppose the usual Day of Silence, which was held unchallenged for 10 years!

This unprecedented gathering reflected a dramatic change in the dynamics of PR at Brookline High School. The spectators could observe students, most of whom were eager and curious to be exposed to a point of view contrary to the usual ‘party line’ of diversity and tolerance, received daily from their GLBT-appointed counselors and enthusiastically brainwashing teachers, according to whom every notable advance in literature, culture and science came from gay people. The monumental pro-gay exposition, entitled “The Closet”, greeting anyone who enters Brookline High, illustrates the high level of propaganda to which the students are exposed.

The students were flocking around the parent-speakers, most notably around one of them, now known online as Bruce C., who stated that the gay lifestyle is actually in opposition to diversity, and who confronted the Brookline High GLBT propaganda head-on. This alone made way for rather surprising and unexpected results of the demonstration.

The indoctrination behind the closed doors of the school stands in opposition to the fundamental American values of freedom, particularly the freedom of speech. Its students are held under constant threat of being penalized by lower grades for speaking or acting out against the ‘party line’. The actual backing up of such a penalty by grades may vary from being a “bigot” or “homophobe” to being “narrow-minded” to not being “open-minded enough”. Thus, only the exact repetition of the ‘party line’ deserves the highest grades.

Thankfully, this oppressive ‘inhuman condition’ has been subverted outside the school, largely due to the Brookline Police Department upholding the concerned taxpayers’ and parents’ rights to assemble outside of THEIR school and defending THEIR children. With freedom prevailing outside of the school, which was a major blow to the out of touch school officials, some teachers began to resort to outrageous tactics.

Panicking about the immediate interest received from students by the calm and cool Bruce C., a group of teachers standing at a distance began to engage in the true goal of the Day of Silence, which is meant to silence and intimidate the students who are in opposition to the school’s agenda. The teachers appeared to be handing out extra credit points to students, and otherwise egging them on to come up to Mr. C., in order to ask rude questions, scream obscenities, deliver obscene gestures, and even convincing two boys to kiss each other in an attempt to publicly pledge allegiance to the challenged cause of GLBT propaganda.

In doing so, both teachers and students were actually TALKING, thus completely ruining the silence which should, allegedly, be the main feature of the Day of Silence. With this development, the victory of the First Day of Defiance was achieved: the Day of Silence, for solidarity with the radical gay agenda, was ruined at Brookline High! Instead of silence, which is totally inappropriate in the supposedly learning environment, the lively dialogue has ensued between the protesters and students.

Mr. C. and the other activists who showed up remained amazingly undeterred under the attack. Many teachers released their students from classes, which were a joke anyway due to a faked silence, to counter protest the Day of Defiance. However, they have severely underestimated the resolve and coolness exhibited by the activists. One could observe the raging fury on the faces of the school officials, as they saw that Mr. C. did not fit into the stereotype for the activists in opposition to the gay agenda, which they led their students to imagine. He was able to create an amazing level of dialogue by basing his main argument on a word which GLBT considers to hold a monopoly on, ‘the diversity’.

It was sad to observe some catastrophically indoctrinated fellow students of mine, who were treating the speakers and activists with blatant disrespect. These brave people showed up to transform a day that was otherwise meant to silence pro-family students and parents into a day of educating students about the American virtue of free speech. It is noteworthy to point out just how influenced the students’ actions were by the school establishment. Most of the vulgar incidents which occurred during the Day of Defiance, could have originated from the fear of opposing points of view, the fear instilled in the students by their allegedly pro-diverse teachers. During the day, many teachers warned their students that the activists were “very dangerous” and “evil.” Some went so far as to refer to them as “the enemy.”

One of the incidents which occurred was a cake being thrown at Mr. C. The person who threw it appeared to be arrested by the Brookline Police. It was ironic to observe how the Day of Defiance exposed the hypocrisy of the ‘open-minded’ GLBT allies, who constantly accuse people on the other side of violence: when challenged, they turned out to be the ones engaging in violence!

I propose that a landmark be built near the front entrance of the school where this historic event took place. The First Day of Defiance on April 25th, 2007 was, all in all, a success. The arrogant Brookline educational establishment has been challenged at last, and instead of being ‘educated’ in silence and exposed to radical gay handouts throughout the school day, students received an excellent lesson in free speech. The Day of Defiance became the talk of the school hallways, and most students expressed a strong desire for a repeat performance. Many of the students who witnessed the demonstration will never be brainwashed as easily again!

Addendum: The Day of Defiance caught Brookline school officials off guard to such an extent that in many classes, teachers felt compelled to share the ‘truth’ about the protests to their students the next day. Raging into their usual practice of stereotyping the opposition, many teachers described the protesters as members of a disgusting anti-Judeo-Christian group from Topeka, KS led by Fred Phelps called “God Hates Fags.” The organization engages among other things in protesting America, Israel, the world, and military funerals (according to them, U.S. interests in the world promote homosexuality.) The teachers who made this association during their class could have at least gotten their facts straight: they stated that the Day of Defiance activists (who are presumably the local parents) traveled to Boston all the way from Missouri, while the Phelps group is actually based in Kansas.

Full report on the Day of Defiance at MassResistance.org
